About your order

1. How long does shipping take ?

When we receive an order, it usually takes us 2-3 days to prepare the order and the shipping. We ship orders with DHL for most countries. Once your order has been shipped, it should arrive within 3-4 days. Please note we are not responsible for delays.

2. Are there taxes to pay upon reception of the order ?

Applicable taxes and duties vary from countries. Please note that Tsugu Tsugu Inc. is not responsible for the payment of taxes. Depending on your country and the value of your order (excl. shipping), you may have the option to pay relevant taxes in advance at check out. If this option is not offered, it means that you will have to pay the applicable taxes upon delivery of your order.

EU: You can prepay applicable taxes at check out for orders up to 150 euros (excl. shipping). For orders exceeding 150 euros, you wil have to pay the taxes upon delivery.

UK: We do not offer a prepayment option of taxes at the moment on this website. If you wish to pay the import taxes in advance, we recommend you to purchase our products through our Etsy Shop: https://www.etsy.com/shop/KintsugiJapan

3. Do you offer kintsugi restoration services to international customers ?

Yes, we accept repair requests by international customers. First send us an e-mail to info[@]kintsugi-girl.com with pictures of your broken item(s). Make sure to pick pictures that show clearly the size and how broken your item is. If our kintsugi artist thinks that your item can be repaired with kintsugi, we will then send you an estimate of the repair cost. Please note that you will be responsible for applicable shipping and importation fees.

About our services

1. Can I purchase kintsugi vessels online?

【This information is as of June 2024.】

We sell kintsugi vessels in our studios, but those are not currently available online.
If you wish to purchase kintsugi vessels, please visit our studios directly.
We have two studios, one in Ebisu and the other in Asakusa, but usually we have more of the kintsugi vessels in Ebisu. All pieces are one-of-a-kind, so only the pieces in stock at the time will be available for sale.

We often receive inquiries from customers who want to see photos of the kintsugi vessels in advance, so we post the photos on the latest information on the google map of each studio, and update the latest information once a week. However, the items may be sold out just before you visit.
Even though you contact us, we are not able to reserve the kintsugi vessels for you. Priority is given to those who visit our studios in person to purchase.

It takes 2~3 months for us to make new kintsugi vessels. Those are all hand-made and one-of-a-kind in the world. Once kintsugi vessels are created, they are sold immediately in our studios, so we are currently unable to sell them online.
However, due to the large number of requests we receive, we are in the process of training many young kintsugi professionals and establishing a structure that will allow us to create as many kintsugi vessels as possible. Once this framework is in place, we will be able to start selling the one-of-a-kind kintsugi vessels online in the future, but it will take some time.

Please check our operating hours at the studio on google map or our website and come and see our kintsugi vessels in person!
